The Ruah Centre

The Ruah Centre has been the heart of homelessness for over 60 years, providing people experiencing homelessness with a safe space to rest and refresh, as well as access to specialist support services.

The rest and recuperate service at 33 Shenton Street, Northbridge is closed.

The Ruah Centre team is now available at 134 Aberdeen St Northbridge. 

Walk-through support is provided by the Ruah Centre team at 134 Aberdeen St, Northbridge (within HepatitisWA building). Operational hours are from 8.30am-3pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Services on offer are:

  • Brief intervention and emergency relief
  • Information and referrals
  • Advocacy
  • Document completion and photo ID assistance
  • Access to HepatitisWA GP

Showers, a place to rest and recuperate, phone use and computer use will NOT be available until a new premises can be secured.

The Alcohol and Other Drugs team are available Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm and will continue to provide support in the community. Please contact 0422 419 195 or 0422 303 097 to engage with a team member.
