The scorching heat didn’t deter the Ruah team from joining the LGBTIQ+ community during for the 30th PrideFEST Parade last month!
This year’s PrideFEST theme was RESPECT, so we asked people who visited the Ruah stall at Fairday what made them feel respected and highlighted their answers on striking rainbow placards for the Parade.
Just some of the things shared with us included: honouring our correct pronouns and identity; feeling seen and heard; respecting our culture and language; and feeling emotionally mentally and physically safe.
