Homelessness Week 2020

Experiencing homelessness and feeling invisible is never okay.

Give someone an ID.

The theme for Homelessness Week 2020 is ‘Everybody Needs A Home’ – but it can be hard to secure a safe place to live when you have no form of personal identification. Ruah wants to change this and we need your help!

Ruah is tackling the issue in a practical and meaningful way by addressing the basic problem that many people experience when they don’t have any official ID.

There are hundreds of men and women sleeping rough on our streets every night and many have problems because their personal documentation has been lost or stolen. They often carry all their possessions with them and can be left with no proof of ID at all. Faced with the realities of lack of sleep, lack of food and pressing health problems – attending official appointments to get an ID, finding the money to pay for it, or applying for housing is almost impossible when you are just trying to survive day-by-day.

This Homelessness Week support Ruah’s Give an ID campaign. Your $50 donation will give someone an official copy of their birth certificate and help them on their way to a brighter future. Join the fight to end homelessness in WA.

$50 is all it takes to give someone their identity – please donate now!
