EPYCentre

Welcome to EPYCentre. We offer a welcoming environment where young people receive assistance to identify the support they need on their individual pathway to positive mental health recovery.

Our program, which is funded by the WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA), provides counselling, peer support and functional recovery support planning. We offer group-based sessions and individual planning and support, depending of your interests and needs.

EPYCentre’s team includes people with lived experience who can provide insights, advice, service links and practical support. We also provide support for families.

Young people

We appreciate mental health recovery is a journey and every journey is unique. So, we provide services and supports tailored to your needs and circumstances – so they feel right for you.

The EPYCentre team will talk with you to find out how your mental health is affecting your life. Then, we will help you set goals and make a plan to help you reach those goals. Our aim is to create capacity so you can improve your mental wellbeing.

Your plan may include education, employment, recreation and fitness, or strategies to manage stress or build social connections. You can choose to join one of our groups or opt for individual activities or external support services that meet your needs.

Our peer support workers, who have lived experience, are also available to support your planning and recovery.

Families

Research shows that positive mental health recovery is not just about clinical intervention but having meaningful supports, services and connections that build capacity over time and equip young people to better manage their own situation and mental health.

EPYCentre provides recovery-oriented support to help your young people with their recovery journey. We appreciate this journey is different for everyone and often involves many people – and family play an important part in the process.

Our Family Peer Worker, who has lived experience, is available for one-to-one family support. Groups are run with other families and loved ones who can provide shared experiences, support and advice.

Referrers

EPYCentre provides functional recovery support for young people, aged from 12 to 25, who have experienced psychosis.

Our service is funded by the WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) and we are resourced to receive referrals from any State Area Health Service Provider in Perth’s southern suburbs.

To make a referral, please call or email us to request a referral form and email or fax it to us.

We would be happy to provide referrers with more information about our services and programs at any time. Please contact us to arrange a chat or a visit.
