Disadvantaged people often need many different supports to get their lives back on track. Their problem are often so complex they cannot be solved by one agency or organisation working alone. Collaboration, partnerships, and pooled funding are critical if we want to drive real change.
At Ruah, we know we’re not the only ones with great ideas. Many of our most successful projects have been co-designed with our corporate and community partners who want to be actively involved in something new, to share their prosperity and make a difference in the community around them.

Your contribution has enormous flow on benefits. People experiencing homelessness, trauma or chronic mental illness often have more than their fair share of interaction with hospital emergency departments, police and the courts – all of which comes at a high cost to taxpayers.
Everyone is at risk, given dire circumstances, but we do have a devastating overrepresentation of Aboriginal people, women and children escaping violence, people with mental illness, young people, those with substance use problems, and a growing number over the age of 55.
Ruah is grateful to all of our supporters, donors and volunteers for their kind assistance which enables us to bring on new programs and services and provide emergency relief.
